Abstract
An iron-based catalyst is suggested for the synthesis of higher olefins. For the improving of the target product, magnesium oxide is added to the catalyst in the amount of 0.5-4 wt. parts with respect to the iron weight. The catalyst contains a support, preferably barium sulphate.
