ABSTRACT:

Work during this quarter concentrated on Task 4 of the study. The objective of this task is to evaluate the application of the BP/UOP Cyclar process to the upgrading of Fischer-Tropsch LPG products into aromatics.  Task 4.0 is divided into three major subtasks: 4.1 - Huels CSP Study; 4.2 - Indirect Cyclar Processing; and 4.3 - Direct Cyclar Processing. In the ''Direct'' Cyclar route, Fischer-Tropsch LPG is fed directly to the Cyclar unit. In the ''Indirect'' route, the LPG is first processed by Huels CSP to reduce the olefin content and then sent to the Cyclar unit. The Direct and Indirect Cyclar processing schemes are depicted. 1 fig., 3 tabs. (ERA citation 14:007540)
