The overall focus of the research is the study of transition metals in zeolites and in particular the preparation of small metal particles in zeolites. The work is divided into three main areas as follows: preparation of highly dispersed metals in zeolites, surface science studies of zeolites, and poisoning of fluid cracking catalysts by transition metals.
