ABSTRACT:

This progress report summarizes work done since September 1983. Overall focus of the research is the study of transition metals in zeolites and in particular the preparation of small metal particles in zeolites. The work can be divided into three main areas: preparation of highly dispersed metals in zeolites; surface science studies of zeolites; and poisoning of fluid cracking catalysts by transition metals.
