ABSTRACT:

This bibliography contains citations concerning innovations in the formulations of combustion additives to improve burning efficiency and reduce toxic emissions from exhausts. Liquid fuels for internal combustion engines, including gasoline as well as diesel powered; synthetic fuels; coal used in place of oil; industrial boiler fuels; natural gas; and petroleum lubricants are among the topics discussed relative to the utilization of additives. Combustion efficiency performance evaluations are also included. (This updated bibliography contains 322 citations, 132 of which are new entries to the previous edition.)
