PATENT 3947. WINKLER, F., AND LINCKH, E. (I. G. Farbenindustrie A. G.). [Fuel Gas.] German Patent 647,142, June 29, 1937 (Cl. 24 c-1.03). Chem. Abs., vol. 31, 1937, p. 6853. Continuously replenished bed of finely granular fuel is treated from below with a gasifying agent, for example O2 in such a manner that the bed is kept in constant motion, resembling the motion of a boiling liquid. This movement is facilitated by introducing into the bed, from the side or from below, a separate stream of a fuel gas, preferably gas produced in the process. Describes apparatus. |
