Recycling is eliminated, and a high yield of liquid olefins is obtained by a low-pressure process in which the catalyst is a physical mixture of an Fe catalyst  promoted by an alkali metal salt and a finely divided support, which carries as active component a mixture of Co and Fe promoted with a minor amount of Th.
