3344.----- [SIEMENS-SCHUCKERTWERKE A. G.]  Temperature-Control System for Use in the Manufacture of Synthesis Products by Means of a Catalyst.  British Patent 483,418, Apr. 20, 1938.  Chem. Abs., vol. 32, 1938, p. 7316.

Temperature of a cooling medium is controlled by an indirect regulator so that a desired temperature is maintained irrespective of the position of the regulated member such as a valve controlling the exit of steam from a cooling jacket.  A member, subject to the steam pressure in an outlet pipe from a chamber to which cooling H2O is supplied, selectively connects with contacts adjustable in accordance with a desired temperature or pressure and permitted range of variation.  The apparatus described is for producing gasoline from C or coke-oven gas and steam.  The catalyst is in a chamber, and the product is mixed with water gas and passes to apparatus for further treatment.
