Fe catalysts from Fischer-Tropsch synthesis may be reactivated by treatment with an oxidizing gas, such as air and /or O₂, followed by reduction with H₂ or synthesis tail gas. oxidation at 900°-1,500° F. may be carried to the point at which oxidation of the metal component of the catalyst takes place. Reducing temperature is 800°-1,400° F.
