PATENT 3200. ----- [RUHRCHEMIE, A.G.] [Synthesis of Hydrocarbons.] French Patent 822,636, Jan. 5, 1938. Chem. Abs., vol. 32, 1938, p. 4324. In the synthesis of hydrocarbons, such as gasoline from CO and H2, with a solid catalyst, a tubular heat-exchange system placed in a hermetically closed casing and traversed by a cooling agent is used. The tubes are all connected to a common tank of cooling H2O, which rises in the tubes to replace the heated H2O which passes to a steam generator. |
