2933.----- [RUHRCHEMIE A. G.]  [Hydrogenation of Carbon Monoxide] German Patent Appl. R 105,297, filed May 24, 1939, (Cl. IV d-12 o).  PB Report 412, May 15, 1945..

Increasing production of high-molecular-weight Hydrocarbons by using a catalyst on a support of very low bulk density.  Low temperatures, 160°-180° C., low space velocity. 4 1. per hr. per kg.  catalyst, elevated pressure, 10-20 kg. per cm.2  and high Co content, over 100 gm. Co per 1. of catalyst. are recommended with a catalyst support consisting of uncalcined Mg or low density kieselguhr.
