High-molecular hydrocarbon oils are obtained hydrocarbons produced by the catalytic hydrogenation of CO by cracking and condensing the cracked product under continuous addition of small amount (about 0.5%) of condensing agents to produce oils of lower viscosity and greater amounts (about1.3%) to produce oils of higher viscosity.
