2904.  --------.  [Diesel Oil.]  German Patent 726,894, Sept. 17, 1942; appl. R 95, 973, filed Apr. 1, 1936 (Cl. 46 a6-7).  Chem. Abs., vol. 37, 1943, p. 6439.

Medium or heavy oils, such as are obtained by catalytic hydrogenation of CO are mixed with H-poor hydrogenation products, for example, mildly hydrogenated coal extracts.  The H-poor products are hydrogenated only to a degree that prevents flocculation when they are mixed with the paraffinic substances.  The mixture is freed of solids and used as diesel fuel.
