2901. -----.[Dehydrogenation of Saturated Hydrocarbons.] German Patent Appl. R 113,825, no date (Cl. IV d-12 o) Auszüge deut. Patent-Anmeldungen, vol. 6, p.312.

Saturated aliphatic hydrocarbons are dehydrogenated by simultaneous catalytic Br addition and splitting-off at 300°-500° and subatmospheric pressure.  To avoid undesirable diolefin or polyolefin formation especially high catalyst burdens are used amounting per hour to >10 l., preferably >20 l., of liquid hydrocarbons per l. of catalyst.  Addition to German Patent Appl. R 109,613 (abs. 2899).
