PATENTS 2855. ----- [RUHRCHEMIE, A. G.] Catalyst. British Patent (Provisional) 8,643. filed 1937. MgCO3 is claimed as a support in place of kieselguhr or a similar material. Regeneration of catalysts supported on MgCO3 is easy. The spent mass is mixed with H2O and blown with CO2 when the MgCO3 goes into solution as bicarbonate. After filtration the basic MgCO3 is reprecipitated by blowing with steam. |
