Describes apparatus and a process that involves simultaneously injecting natural gas and superheated steam under a pressure in excess of a minimum of 5,000 p. s. i. into a chamber heated to approximately 1,000°-1,100° F. and then subjecting the heated mixture to a catalyst of Fe oxide and passing the product to a condenser.
