Gas producer in which pulverized fuel is blown with a stream of cold O₂ or air rich in O₂ into a reaction zone maintained at higher temperature. The fuel is converted into synthesis gas with highly heated endothermic reacting gases such as steam and Co₂. Addition to German Patent Appl. K 162,061 (abs. 1924).
