Gas producer for pulverized fuel, which is blown with only a part of the necessary air for gasification into the reaction chamber heated above the fusing point of the ash. The mixture is converted therein with the highly heated remainder of the gasification air and the heated endothermic reactive constituents (H₂O, CO₂) to produce a gas with a very high calorific value.
