1763. JAMM, W. (Mannesmannrohren-Werke). [Cooler Assembly for Synthetic Production of Benzine at Low Pressure.] German Patent 719,652, Apr. 13, 1942; appl. M 136,915, filed Jan. 20, 1937 (Cl. 12 o-1.03). Chem. Zentralb., 1942, II, p. 2227; Chem. Abs., vol. 37, 1943, p. 2164.

Apparatus allows for efficient cooling of the catalytic reaction. The sheet metal supports for the catalyst bodies are arranged in the form of a series of superimposed truncated cones surrounded by wire netting. The cooling liquid is circulated in a number of vertical pipes distributed throughout the device, which is constructed along the principle of an automobile radiator.
