1733. ------. [INTERNATIONAL HYDROGENATION PATENTS CO., LTD.] [Production of Motor Fuel.] French Patent 854,962, Apr. 29, 1940; appl. filed May 19, 1939, in United States May 20, 1938. Chem. Zentralb., 1941, I, p. 3175.

Production of synthesis gas from natural, cracked, low-temperature carbonization gas, etc. and its conversion at 150° -343° and 200 atm. pressure over Ni, Co, or Fe catalysts into hydrocarbons. The end gas is treated and recycled; the hydrocarbons obtained in the 2 steps being subjected to cracking at 370° -510° on Si-containing catalysts activated with metal oxides to produce a motor fuel.
