The operation is preformed in the presence of solid catalysts under normal pressure and in the gas phase. During the conversion the catalyst is continuously passed through the reaction space. On removal it is wholly or partly freed from the deposited paraffin and returned to the reactor. The excess reaction heat is conducted off by means of cooled surfaces. |
