In the preparation of hydrocarbons or their derivatives from tars, mineral oils, oxides of C, etc., by means of H2 at a high temperature and pressure, fixation of substances of high molecular weight on the catalyst during the reaction is prevented by the presence of liquid solvents boiling at a high temperature, such as an anthracene or paraffin oil. |
