Liquid hydrocarbons with other organic compounds containing >1 C atom in the mol. are obtained by catalytic treatment of mixtures of CO and H2 particularly water gas by operating in a closed cycle and adding to the initial gases other gases such as CH4 or allowing such other gases to accumulate so that the circulating gases contain at least 25%, preferably 40% or even more, of these gases. |
