Fluidized catalysts, after utilization for cracking of hydrocarbons in the gas phase at normal or greatly increased pressure, are regenerated at higher pressure than the reaction pressure; for example, 20% higher than a reaction pressure 20 atm, and 10% higher than a reaction pressure of >20 atm. The efficiency of regeneration is increased and the time required diminished. |
