In producing hydrocarbons such as those of benzine from C oxides and H2, a catalyst is used containing 1 or more metals of group S with an addition of an alkali compound in a quantity not exceeding 0.6% the quantity of group 8 metal; for examples, the catalyst may comprise Fe, 40; Co, 20; Ni, 10; and Na, 0.34 part. |
