Patent Abstracts

To produce as much paraffin as possible, the synthesis is carried out at pressures of 5-50 atm. over Co catalysts containing at least 200 gm., preferably 300 gm., of Co per l. and 5-25% of the Co as Mn activator. The best temperature lies at 160º-185º. Out of a total yield of about 120 gm, per m.³ of synthesis gas, 60% of paraffin is obtained.
