Catalyst from Fischer-Tropsch synthesis is reactivated by contact with synthesis gas at a space velocity substantially < that for the synthesis reaction and <that at which any substantial yield of hydrocarbons is effected (0-10 vol. synthesis gas per vol. catalyst per hr.). Reaction conditions of temperature and pressure are maintained until the wax is removed.
