Reactor is made of ordinary steel for its shell and of corrosion resistant steel for the inner body. The inert carrier liquid flows into the jacket between shell and inner body and effectively keeps the corrosive reactants from coming into contact with the shell. The reactants are led by tubes into the inner body, and reactant mixture, including inert carrier, flows out the top.
