Process of giving or increasing the CH4 content in such gas mixtures as contain, in addition to H2, CO or CO2, or both, by leading the gases over metallic Ni, characterized in that H2 is added in excess, whereby the CH4 content is materially increased. A part of such H2 may be substituted by CH4. |
