In the catalytic interaction of oxides of C with H₂ or gaseous hydrocarbons, the circulation of the reacting gases in the circuit of the apparatus used id effected by pressure of fresh gases introduced into the circuit, for example, through an injector nozzle. Aldehydes, ketones, and organic acids as well as alcohols are produced.
