Best conditions for the 1^st conversion are: Ni catalyst, temperature of 800°, volume velocity of 200 and a H₂O content of 0.3 m.³ per m.³. The product contained CO₂, 27; CO, 35; H₂, 33; and N₂, 5%. For the 2d stage (formation of gas with a CO:H₂ ratio of ½), a volume velocity of 200, temperature of 500°, and a H₂O content of 0.6 m.³ is used.
