        Diffusion-coefficient values for C in austenite covering a wide range of temperature and composition have been determined by employing statistical methods.  In addition, the relation between concentration and each of the following, D (diffusion coefficient), Q (activation heat of diffusion), and A (the constant in the diffusion equation), has been obtained.
