Water-gas reaction has been studied at 700° and 800° in the presence of Ni catalysts containing 10% each of Al₂O₃, MgO, SiO₂, ThO₂, CuO, MnO, CaO, Fe₂O₃, and ZnO. The catalyst Ni+10% MgO has the greatest activity for the oxidation of CO.
