2610. ---------------. [PERRIN, M.] [Thermal-Reduction Treatment of Fischer Catalysts.] Jour. chim. phys., vol. 47, 1950, pp. 262-268; Chem. Abs., vol. 44, 1950, p. 7638. Catalyst containing 26.3% Ni, small amounts of Mn, and Al with kieselguhr as support was studied. The total loss in weight and the amounts of H2O and CO2 formed were determined during successive reductions at 120°, 225°, 360°, and 450°. The total loss in weight was 32.5% and consisted of H2O, 26.36; CO2, 3.24; and presumable CH4, 2.90%. All of the CO2 evolved was formed at or below 225°. ----------.
