        Incomplete combustion of CH₄ in the presence of CO₂ and H₂O has been investigated in the temperature range 800°-1,400°.  Complete equilibrium diagrams of the 2 systems CH₄-H₂O-O₂ and CH₄-CO₂-O₂, and the best conditions for producing H₂ and CO in the ratio of 2:1, are determined.
