Magnetization intensities of magnetite in 3 directions (110), (111), and (100), were measured at –195°.  They are much smaller than those at 10° and different according to the directions when the magnetizing field is smaller than about 6,000 oersteds.  They coincide with each other at 7,500 oersteds.  Above this field strength, the low-temperature magnetization curve is a little higher than the room-temperature curve.
