        Adsorption of H₂ on catalysts of MoO₂ base is being investigated.  Contrary tot he results of other authors this oxide has not been found to be stable in the presence of H₂.  In the temperature range in which Mignolet worked, a slow reduction of the MoO₂ was observed, and it is now the aim to find the reduced form stable under conditions suitable for the technical use of MoO₂.  The apparatus used in the experiments is described.
