 1938.    KOHN, S.  Theory of the Water-Gas Process.  Jour. Ind. Eng. Chem., vol. 14, 1922, pp. 69-72; Chem. Abs., vol. 16, 1922, p. 634.

Kohn discusses the 10 possible and the 3 probable combinations of reactions that can be used to explain the water-gas process.  Demonstration is made of a possibility of drawing conclusions from the composition of the resulting gases to the actual procedure of the reactions.  The applicability of the principles outlined is tested on a series of 9 observations published by Bunte and Harries, and their applications to catalytic observations is discussed.
