To remove the organic S in water gas the mixture of hydroxides of Fe, Ni, Co, Cu, Mn, or Cd with kieselguhr were very effective. To remove the organic S in water gas by transforming into H2S, mixtures of Al(OH)3, Mg(OH)2, and kieselguhr were effective.
