       General review of published information with a summary of plant and operating costs taken from the Hearings before the Senate Committee on Senate Bill S-1243.  Recommendations to the American gas industry as to the disposition of the process are:  That no research be done on the production of liquid fuels by the Fischer-Tropsch process; that research be conducted on directing the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis to the production of gaseous hydrocarbons; and that the developments of the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis by the petroleum industry be followed closely.
