        Discusses production of hydrocarbons by catalytic reduction of CO and CO₂ of water gas.  Comparatively lower working temperatures yield wax products of high melting point, called synthetic ceresin.  The product melting at 96° is capable of taking up more solvent and remain a paste than natural ceresin, paraffin, montan wax, etc.
