Adsorption isotherms for H2 and N2 on 2 Fe catalysts promoted by 2% Al2O3 are given for temperatures 184°-425°.  Physical adsorption was found at 184°, 2 types of activated adsorption at 250°-425° on the sintered catalyst only.  For the NH3 synthesis at 360°-385° the catalytic activity of the sintered catalyst was proportional to the activated adsorption.
