      Fischer process for the synthesis of liquid and solid hydrocarbons from CO and H₂ at atmospheric pressure and 200°-250° is described.  The yields are gasol. b. 30°, 4% (50% olefins); gasoline, b. 30°-200°, 62% (30% olefins); oil, b. +200°, 23% (10% olefins); paraffin wax, m. p. 50°, 7%; and paraffin deposits, m. p. +70°, in catalyst, 4%.
