                 Perfection of the steam conversion process for transformation of natural gas to blue gas or H₂ as end products has been of importance.  The former is available for MeOH and HCHO production or as the first steps in the Fischer-Tropsch process.  To date, research on this subject suggests the production of 1 bbl. of hydrocarbon liquid/10,000 cu. ft. of natural gas, including fuel for the process.
