Abstract

This invention relates to catalytic chemistry and can be used for the production of liquid hydrocarbons by the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. The invention allows the increase of the catalyst activity owing to modified support of composition (wt.%): cobalt 5-15, zirconium silicate 85-95, silica – the rest. Zirconium silicate contains (wt.%) zirconium oxide 1-10 and sodium oxide 0.05-0.4. The catalyst provides a higher yield of liquid hydrocarbons per g cobalt and is prepared by simple procedure omitting the stages of zirconium oxide supporting, drying and calcination.
