Abstract

In order to expand the catalyst slate for the synthesis of hydrocarbons from carbon monoxide and hydrogen under pressure and to increase the yield of target products, a catalyst is suggested prepared from cobalt and magnesia supported on kieselguhr Kisatibi. The catalyst consists of 100 wt. parts of cobalt, 6-16 wt. parts of magnesium oxide and 250-280 wt. parts of keiselguhr Kisatibi. The catalyst synthesis procedure and comparative testing results are presented.
