Abstract

PURPOSE: To extend the operation region of a pump and to realize stable operation by forming plural conical bubble coalescing devices to the other outer periphery of a suction pipe and efficiently separating gas and liquid in the inlet part of the liquid suction pipe in an equipment and inhibiting the gas quantity contd. in the suction liquid.

CONSTITUTION: Gas and liquid are fed to a solid particle layer from the bottom part of the layer via a disperser to form a three-phase fluidized bed and passed through the fluidized bed and thereafter liquid is drawn out through a suction pipe 11 which is provided vertically penetrating in the central part of this be and the recirculated into the equipment. The inlet part 10 of the suction pipe 11 is constituted of a reverse conical connection part 19, a cylindrical suction part 16 provided on the upper part of this connection part 19 and plural conical bubble coalescing devices 17 at the outer periphery of the suction pipe 11 just under the connection part 19. As a result, gas and liquid are efficiently separated in the inlet part of the liquid suction pipe in the equipment and the gas quantity contained in the suction liquid is inhibited and thereby the operation region of a pump is extended and stable operation can be realized.
