compared with the largest type Brieden pneumatic machine with a capacity
of 90 cubic yards per hour. |

GERMAN DOMESTIC SOLID FUEL APPLIANCES.
NOV. 1946. Reported by E.A.C. Chamberlain and H.S.
Hughes. 65 p. report. 20 plants were visited. This
report consists of information on: cookers, heating stoves, solid
fuel water heaters and fuels used. The appliance design is not as
far advanced as U.S. but taken as a whole, appliances are not less
efficient than those in common use in Great Britain. One advantage,
is the almost universal use of brown coal briquettes in Germany. A
list of the literature and appliances requistioned is included. |
