ABSTRACT:

The report describes efforts during this quarter on the reactor and on the development of analytical methods. Reactor development efforts were directed towards optimizing reactor pressure and temperature control, as well as catalyst characterization. Analytical procedures focused on calibration methods for gas chromatography of Fischer-Tropsch products.  Results on the porosity and surface area of the Ruhrchemie iron catalyst and GC calibration runs are given.
