ABSTRACT:

Raytheon Engineers & Constructors conducted this feasibility study funded by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency. The report examines strategies for PDVSA Gas to monetize the natural gas reserves via the gas to liquids (GTL) route. This volume contains the preliminary background information, the study bases, the natural gas supply report, a site study, a marketing study, a technology evaluation, and modeling process, and the economic analysis of the implementation. This project has the potential to produce $90 million in U.S. exports, with a majority of the exports coming from air separation units, partial oxidation units, F-T synthesis, and HC recovery.
